Kira And Dylan

I was not the photographer on the day of Kira And Dylans Wedding, but I just wanted to share a few of the images I captured on their amazing day.

This was such a fun wedding, with two people we call family, plus we got to meet new and wonderful people.

If you are ever on the gold coast, look up Lakeview cafe (lakeviewcafe.com.au) and hit them up for some amazing coffee and an epic feed.

Thank you for a wonderful night guys! We had so much fun!

SS Dicky, Dicky Beach, Sunshine Coast QLD - The Early Bird Gets The Worm!

The shoot at Dicky Beach was an interesting one.

In all my years shooting landscapes, I have never had to share the beach with another photographer.

A dark shadow approached, tripod in hand she asked how long I had been there for. I responded "just over an hour". Whilst it was still dark, I could see her shocked expression.

My tip to other photographers wanting to shoot landscapes...

Get there before anyone else!

While it can be a little creepy walking down the sand in the dark, the night sky is incredible. You'll even spot a few shooting stars, and a satellite or two. ..

But as the black slowly becomes blue the beach exposes pristine sand, and the only foot prints are your own.

Getting there at sunrise is fine, but have fun photoshopping out my footprints.

The SS dicky was grounded in 1983 at Caloundra while on it's journey from Rockhampton to Brisbane.

You wouldn't necessarily know by looking at her today, but she was an iron screw steam vessel measuring 96 1/2 feet in length.

From what I understand the local council removed a good portion of the hull in recent years to improve safety.

If you want to capture what's left of her beauty, Do it sooner rather than later.

Locals fear she won't last much longer.

Cleveland Bay Storm

Was lucky enough to capture some lightning the other day at Cleveland Bay, Brisbane.

It's such a nice feeling being at the beach, bright eyed and bushy tailed at 4am! i'm serious, not an ounce of sarcasm in my writing at all! ;)

I hope you enjoy!

Jaime and Jason

What a fun wedding to shoot!

The wedding and reception was taken place just outside of brisbane, in a beautiful location on an amazing property.

Our heart felt congratulations go out to the both of you from us, both you and your families were sensational!

Jaime and Jason

Thank you so much to Jaime and Jason for letting us be a part of the next big chapter of their life.

Below are a select few photographs from their pre-wedding shoot.

What can I say, what an awesome family!

Jason is photogenic (regardless of what he thinks) and Jaime has a smile that can melt ice!

Their three wonderful children played to the camera so well, and we can't wait to be a part of their big day.

Lake Moogerah: Part Deux

First of all I would love to thank the caretaker of Camp Mallon the access to their property. I cannot tell you how much i appreciate it!

Secondly, this is one of my favorite shoots in a long time. without the love and support from my beautiful other half Tez, I dare say this possibly wouldn't have happened. The fact that she braved the humidity, mozzies and boredom (trust me, she went a little kooky! lol) really affirms that I have a strong support base, and that it can only get better from here!

Thank you Tez, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Without you, I wouldnt be back into the swing of things. To you this is dedicated!

I hope you enjoy!

Lake Moogerah: Part 1

Weekend spent at Lake Moogerah here in SE Queensland, Such a beautiful place, with endless opportunities for the photographer!

Will post more as i get through the photos from the shoot.

Cheers,

Ev

This one was a miscalculation on my part with exposure time, which needed a lot of post processing! but i thought i'd still share it anyway :)

The Spit, Gold Coast, QLD

So, my first Landscape/seascape shoot in a very long time!

First and foremost, i must thank my loving partner, without her, i wouldnt be doing this!!

Todays shoot was taken at the spit, on the Gold Coast in Queensland, such a beautiful place, and VERY dog friendly, naturally my boy trev came down for the shoot!

I have the bug again, and so many beautiful places to visit, the next planned place is up the scenic rim near Warwick, SE Queensland.

Hope you enjoy
